Institutional members are a vibrant part of our community, dedicated to promoting the highest standards of research and teaching in Middle Eastern and African studies, valuing the protection of academic freedom and advancing discourse in these fields. View our institutional members.
Institutional membership with ASMEA is open to academic institutions, centers, and libraries. Institutional members are assessed on an annual fee and receive the following benefits:
- Two complimentary Annual Conference registrations.
- Five copies of the Journal of the Middle East and Africa – The flagship peer-reviewed academic journal of ASMEA, released four times a year.
- One complimentary sponsorship page in Annual Conference Program.
- 20% discount on other sponsorship opportunities including panel sponsorship, coffee break sponsorship, exhibitor tables, and tote bag inserts.
- Waived fee for institution meetings held in conjunction with the Annual Conference.
- Webinar partnership - coordinate a webinar with ASMEA who will host and promote your institution's discussion.
- Listing on ASMEA Website.
- ASMEA e-newsletter – The e-newsletter includes articles and opinion pieces by scholars and specialists, member news, and association updates.
- Featured ad or announcement in the ASMEA e-newsletter.
- Job Bank Posting – Post jobs, fellowships, grant opportunities, etc, for free on the ASMEA job board.
- Discussion Forum – Collaborate and talk with fellow ASMEA members.
- Include up to five linked profiles for exclusive online member access.
